More Fisher Projects In the Works

Let's hope these residents like their coffee spiked. Here's a first glance at 721 Beach, slated for a space next to the storied watering hole Buena Vista near Ghirardelli Square. Fisher demoed the existing structure last week to make way for the luxury, four-story building that will house two ground floor commercial spaces and two residences above. (Tenants should join that fellow down there on the left, because he looks lonely.) The project will take a year to complete. And Silicon Valley wives have another place to swipe their Amex-es: Blue Illusion, a wildly popular women's clothing company in Australia and New Zealand, made its stateside debut with a new store in Santana Row done by Fisher. More locales in the South Bay will come later this year.
