Turner Construction Names New NorCal Corporate Officer

We chatted with newly minted Turner VP Dan Wheeler (here at PG&E job site in Vacaville) yesterday, who tells us his new post is akin to a partnership, where he's now an officer of the company. "You're responsible for your division and more importantly the strategic direction of the company and the development of our people," he says. Dan got the nod after nearly a decade with Turner, during which the Special Projects Division has grown into a $250M division. He says average project size used to be about $1M, but has grown to $8M. The new post will include a bit more travel throughout NorCal.
