Sperry Van Ness director Catherine House doesn’t want to work; she just wants to bang on her drums all day. To that end, she’s the drummer for rock band “Saucy” and regularly entertains crowds at bars across San Francisco, playing covers and original music. (Her favorite is “White Wedding” by Billy Idol.) A native of England, Catherine began playing drums after moving to the US in 2001. The past CREW president, however, actually does go to work and recently sold an office condo at 490 Post Street in Union Square (505 SF) for $295k. Now Catherine is working to move the remaining 14 office condos in the building. Catherine has already registered for theBisnow Investment Summit on July 31, defying all those who say rock stars aren't intelligent.
