A wise man goes to the theater to see Damn Yankees. A wise broker goes to the theater to turn it into a baseball field. We've learned the legendary Bridge Theater on Geary could get a strange second act.
The 350-seat venue is under contract to a baseball training company, according to our sources. The broker is Brown & Co. We checked in with Cassidy Turley, who used to handle the listing, and they said a use like a gym wasn't efficient (many other aging theaters in the city have gone that route) because there's not enough foot traffic there. We'll have more details soon but sounds like the 5,400 SF lot will get an unlikely new life as baseball grounds. We hear a church was also interested.
