Streetlights Gets Green Light at Makers Quarter

Civic San Diego has approved the 295-unit mixed-use apartment project in Downtown San Diego's East Village.

The project, at the corner of 16th and F streets in Makers Quarter, is a JV development between Lankford & Associates, Streetlights Residential, Hensel Phelps and HP Investors that also includes 20k SF of retail space.

The deal represents a first West Coast development for Texas-based Streetlights Residential. Officials now plan to break ground soon not only on this, but Broadstone Markers Quarter and an office project.
