Westcore Properties has picked up a massive MetLife industrial portfolio that adds penetration into both Orange County and Inland Empire's industrial markets. The SD-based firm paid nearly $70M for eight core-plus distribution centers that encompass more than 630k SF, including Buena Park (a 301k SF business park off Village Drive mostly filled with Isuzu Motors and Hochiki America Corp as the anchors); 300 East Arrow Hwy, a 165k SF warehouse leased by Western Pacific Storage in San Dimas; and two smaller multi-tenant industrial buildings in Ontario and La Miranda. Westcore's Hack Adams says the Class-B portfolio has value-add potential.
