Ballast Point Brewing Expansion?

With $1B in its pocket, Bisnow sources tell us San Diego's Ballast Point could be in the market for more production space.

Sources tell us the craft brewery that made massive headlines when Constellation Brands purchased it for $1B last month has hit the market for an undisclosed amount of industrial space in either Temecula or Long Beach. Voit Real Estate Services' Jeff Chasen confirmed he represents the beer maker. "I am not in a position to discuss any of the locations or terms of the transactions that Ballast Point is engaged in at this time," he says. Ballast Point operates its main brewery at 9045 Carroll Way, as well as tasting rooms in Scripps Ranch and Little Italy. We'll keep you posted.
