ROEM HOMES FOR NON-MILLIONAIRES

Contrary to conventional wisdom, not everyone in Silicon Valley is an IPO millionaire. ROEM Corp, in partnership with the City of Mountain View, broke ground on Franklin Street Family Apartments, a $23.4M, 51-unit affordable community. Designed by KTGY Group, the project (135 Franklin St) will consist of a three- and four-story C-shaped building in traditional Mediterranean colors and is aiming for LEED Gold. Financing includes 4% low-income housing tax credits along with support from City of Mountain View, Citi Community Capital, and AEGON Group.
