Fairfield Residential Acquires Site For Apartments

Fairfield Residential has acquired a 0.7-acre site at 2869 NE Sandy Blvd, where zoning allows more than 200 units of apartments. The location is within the Kerns neighborhood and at the northern end of a spot on NE 28th known for its restaurants. United Auto Wholesalers and Abe's Towing, among others, are there.

"New life continues to be brought to the neighborhood as projects up and down Sandy come to life, placing the site at the center of a wave of retail and multifamily development,” said CBRE first VP Graham Taylor, who repped the seller, Portland Leeds Sandy LLC. The buyer paid $3.6M for the site, which encompasses five parcels.
