Demand Drivers For Multifamily Still Strong In Phoenix

Demand for mixed-use and multifamily space doesn't appear out of nowhere. Jobs, retail, walkable streets -- they all help drive demand, and Phoenix is especially fortunate to have a good mix in a lot of places. Come hear more about it at our Phoenix Mixed Use & Multifamily Forum on May 17 at the Grand Sheraton Phoenix.

Among our speakers will be Patrick Panetta (center), director of project management for University Real Estate Development at Arizona State University. Patrick will offer his thoughts about the growth of ASU, one of Phoenix's prime economic drivers.

"The Arizona State University Downtown Phoenix campus has experienced unprecedented growth since its initial inception in 2006, from just over 2,700 students and 700 staff to nearly 11,000 students and 2,000 staff this past fall," Patrick tells us.

That's just the beginning for ASU. Patrick tells us the University occupies and utilizes over 1.7M SF of academic, administrative and residential space in the Downtown Phoenix area, and is anticipated to develop another 1M SF to meet its anticipated growth to 15,000 students over the next 10 years.

Patrick and our other experts will be on hand to offer more insights about ASU and other growth magnets at the Phoenix Mixed Use & Multifamily Forum, beginning at 7:30 am on May 17 at the Grand Sheraton Phoenix. Sign up here.
