Lennar Multifamily Communities started work on The Muse, a 367-unit infill apartment development on the northeast corner of Central Avenue and McDowell Road, next to Arizona Opera and across from the Phoenix Art Museum. Besides the cultural amenities, the urge to partake in urban living is going to attract renters, Lennar Multifamily development manager Nathan Stum tells us.
"Phoenicians want a more urban living experience in and around Midtown and Downtown," Nathan says. Lennar has also inked leases for the ground-floor commercial space in the four-story building: Press Coffee Roasters’ fourth Valley location, along with Salon D'Shayn, which will relocate from down the street. The developer is also seeking a collaborative co-working space tenant.
