Student Housing Property Near Drexel Sells For Over $11M

A Denver-based student housing company made its first Philadelphia-area purchase, acquiring the Spring Hamilton Apartments, a set of two student housing buildings totaling 39 units, for $11.8M.

The two buildings sit at 3836-50 Spring Garden St and 3835-37 Hamilton St, made up of mostly three-bedroom, three-bathroom units. The project contains 114 bedrooms total, laundry facilities, a fitness center and a study center. It sits close to the campus of Drexel University.

The Spring Hamilton Apartments were sold by University Realty, brokered by Rittenhouse Realty Advisors. The buyer, Powelton Student Housing Partners, is new to the market out of Denver.
