Steeple View, a development on South State Street in Newtown, has broken ground. The first phase of the project, developed by Allan Smith on the site of a former car dealership, involves the construction of a three-story building with 10 condo units and 13k SF of retail space.
The second phase, which is still going through approvals, would be on nine acres next to the first phase, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal. Overall, the development will total a dozen buildings with retail, restaurants, office and residential uses, along with a 500-vehicle parking garage. [PBJ]
