The Truth About Healthcare Development Costs

We spoke with one of our event panelists, Turner Construction exec Greg Ryan. He tells us that cost escalation appears to be anon-issue. Nationally, construction costs in March were unchanged from February and increased only 0.9% since this time last year, he notes, and the regional picture looks very similar.

That said, construction companies dohave their eye on controlling costs through productivity gains and cost economies, Greg says. For its part, Turner is using Building Image Modeling (BIM), prefabrication of parts and building systems, and modular construction.
