WeWork is continuing its expansion in Orange County.

The coworking giant is opening its seventh location in Orange County at Granite Properties' 100 Bayview Circle building in Newport Beach.

“WeWork’s vibrant community will further enhance the activated campus environment," Granite Senior Managing Director Jason Purvis said in a news release.

Purvis said WeWork will occupy the entire first floor, about 53K SF, of the six-story, 346K SF Class-A building.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Other tenants in the building include TEK Systems, Lee & Associates, RiverRock Real Estate and Strategic Global Advisors.

WeWork's first foray into Newport Beach, a high-end coastal community, highlights the growth of the coworking company in the county.

Since opening its first location in Irvine in 2016, WeWork has opened four other locations in Orange County.

In February, the company signed a lease to occupy three floors totaling 70K SF at 2211 Michelson Drive.

With this new lease, the company will have two coworking locations in Costa Mesa, four in Irvine and one in Newport Beach.
