Yesterday, Meridian Capital’s Doni Blumenthal, Josh Simpson, Adam Eisenberg, CEO Ralph Herzka, Paul Gilbert, Allan Lieberman, Abe Hirsch, and Chaim Tessler biked 108 miles from Piscataway, NJ, to Scranton, Penn. As you read this, they’re riding another 70 over hilly terrain to Glen Spey, NY, where they’ll meet the kids at Camp Simcha, the flagship program of Chai Lifeline, a nonprofit that aims to instill normalcy into the lives of children and teens with life-threatening or lifetime diseases. Brooklyn native and resident Ralph started cycling and spin classes in 2012 as part of a health and wellness routine, and a colleague encouraged him to ride in the 2012 Bike4Chai event. The next year, Ralph and Team Meridian raised $367k, and this year, they really hit it out of the park, raising $560k, though that number can still go higher. To contribute, click here.
