Silverstein's Raw Space Bonanza

The fashion industry is always looking for the next big thing. Following Conde Nast and Revlon's relocations to Downtown (and Hugo Boss' search for space there), two retailers escaped Midtown's grasp on Fashion Week venues to host events Downtown, suggesting a new power center for the industry. 400 attended Calvin Klein’s Reveal fragrance release party (Iggy Azalea played) in Silverstein's 4 WTC, says Silverstein’s Aisling Gregory, and 750 attended Hugo Boss’ runway show by Jason Wu there on Sept. 10 (above). Aisling tells us the raw space in the 60%-leased office building is gaining a rep as a hot event space and fashion companies, in particular, like the blank canvas. (The only thing blanker is the models' "blue steel" stare.)
