Cushman & Wakefield is teaming up with NYU in a program to help fledgling startups get off the ground and into their own spaces. The school’s Polytechnic School of Engineering runs tech incubators in SoHo, Dumbo and at downtown Brooklyn’s Metrotech campus. C&W will offer advising on the right space as the startups scale up, reports the Commercial Observer. C&W hasn’t released dollar figures, but the cash flow looks to be robust: companies started in NYU incubators have hired over 1,200 employees and raised over $145M since the program got off the ground six years ago. The Marino Organization, a PR firm that reps C&W and other real estate firms, will also be partnering with NYU, helping startups get their ducks in a row as they seek publicity.
