Cushman & Wakefield is moving its Brooklyn office from 205 Montague St, into a new home about a block away. The old office is the former Brooklyn outpost of Massey Knakal Realty Services, which Cushman & Wakefield finalized a deal to acquire on Jan. 1 of last year. The new space is about a block away, at Forest City Ratner’s 1 Pierrepont Plaza, reports the Commercial Observer.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Jonathan Serko repped the brokerage in-house along with Joseph Caridi and Betty Castro. Forest City Ratner’s Ali Esmaeilzadeh repped the landlord in-house.
Cushman & Wakefield, meanwhile, is still retained by landlord Midtown Equities to market the site of its former Brooklyn office as a development site zoned for 300k BSF and up to 62 stories. [CO]
