The Rabsky Group’s planned residential project at 42-20 27th St in LIC will have nearly double the number of units as originally planned. When permits were first filed, they called for 95 units. Now it looks like it’ll have 196 and rise to 18 stories, according to The Real Deal. The added residential space comes in part at the cost of some of the originally planned commercial space. Instead of 20k SF, new plans call for just under 3k SF of retail.
New Renderings put out by ODA Architects also show the futuristic look of the finished building, with a series of “serenity gardens” that’ll serve as tenant amenities and provide green space visible from the street. Expect a completion of the building by summer 2017. [TRD]
