Mystery: Eight More Floors for 711 West End Ave?

website has appeared showing a new eight-story addition stuck on top of 711 West End Ave, West Side Rag reports. Who put up the site is unclear, but it reads like it was written by a tenant and it lists PBDW as the architecture firm working on the project. The mysterious site claims the addition, which sits smack atop the existing rental building, will be structurally independent of it. Kind of like how the top eight floors of our office building are structurally independent of the rest of the building. (Physics, man.) It’s not the first time this kind of thing has happened in our land-starved little burg.
