Foreign Money, No Paper Trail

Catch Sunday’s Times? We did. The paper ran the intro to a new long form series on LLCs it says were set up by foreign investors buying tip-top Manhattan condo units without leaving much of a paper trail. The series will look at a different foreign investor who’s bought property through an LLC each day this week. Today’s is about a Malaysian financier who the paper says bought Jay Z and Beyoncé’s former penthouse digs in the Time Warner Center on Columbus Circle and a $24M unit in the Park Laurel at 15 W 63rd St.
