Billionaire’s Row Just Hit A Milestone

The first sale at Macklowe Properties and CIM Group’s 432 Park Ave has officially closed. A three-bedroom unit on the 35th floor fetched $18.1M, 6sqft reports. The unit’s a total of 4k SF and it’s got four and a half baths and a private elevator landing. For now, the buyer’s identity is hidden behind an LLC called “432 Parkview,” city records show.

The 1,400-foot tower right now has the highest roof height in the city and until at least two of its neighbors surpass it in the next few years, as is expected, it’ll hold the title of housing the highest residence in the Western Hemisphere.

The total expected sell-out on the building is estimated at $3.1B—and that number looks attainable, as over 70% of units are already under contract. Construction’s in its final stages and occupancy’s planned for around the middle of this year. [6sqft]
