Applications Open for Kips Bay Micro Apartments

If you're looking to live in a micro unit, here's your chance. Three years after Mayor Bloomberg waved zoning regulations requiring units of at least 450 SF at 335 E 27th St, applications are open for the first 14 units at the resulting My Micro NY. The 260 SF to 360 SF tiny pads were constructed by Brooklyn Navy Yard-based modular construction company Capsys, and are available for as low as $950/month for singles making $34,526 to $48,350 per year and couples making $34,526 to $55,250. The application deadline is Nov. 2. [Gothamist]
