Fortuna Realty Files Plans For 27-Story Hotel Coming To Midtown

Now that the hotel market seems likely to tick back up after several years of revenue decline, some developers could be looking to time the market for its full rebound.

The latest permit filing for a new hotel comes to the city from Fortuna Realty Group, and it’s for a 27-story, 299-key project at 30 West 39th St. It’ll cover a little less than 134k SF and top out at 323 feet tall, NY Yimby reports.

The hotel plans a restaurant and outdoor bar on the ground level and second floor. Demolition permits for the two five-story buildings on the 8,700 SF site have been on file since last year. [NYY]
