26-Story Hotel Planned for FiDi

Tribeca Associates, led by principal Mark Gordon (pictured) filed for a permit to build a 26-story hotel at 143 Fulton St. The 88k SF project will have 228 rooms, with retail on the first and second floors, and the third floor will have a lounge and bar, The Real Deal reports. SLCE Architects is slated to design. No demolition permits have been filed for the existing three-story, three-unit commercial building on the site. Tribeca associates paid $54.1M for the property's ground lease in 2014. [TRD]
