On the way to Herrick's party, we snapped the Eventi, on Sixth Avenue between 29th and 30th, and Durst Fetner's 855 Sixth Ave development site. The hotel opened in 2010, right about when Durst Fetner acquired the debt onChetrit Group and Tessler Developments' stagnant parcel. Durst Fetner eventually took control of the land, and Durst's Jordan Barowitz told us Friday excavation and foundation work will begin in a few months.
