The hotel opened in 2010, right about when Durst Fetner acquired the debt onChetrit Group and Tessler Developments' stagnant parcel. Durst Fetner eventually took control of the land, and Durst's Jordan Barowitz told us Friday excavation and foundation work will begin in a few months. Here's what you'll see by 2015: 40 stories, including a 347k SF residential tower (375 apartments) on top of 125k SF of office and 69k SF of retail.
