Twin Peaks Remake Films at Grand Prospect Hall

Brooklyn's Grand Prospect Hall hosted Showtime's Twin Peaks remake on Monday. Owner Michael Halkias said filming began on Sunday and continued through Monday. There was a crew of hundreds and security was so tight that even Grand Prospect Hall employees had to pass clearance, DNAInfo reports. But Halkias has yet to catch a glimpse of director David Lynch (pictured), who has been spotted at other filming sites around the city. This isn't Grand Prospect Hall's first foray into the film industry. The extravagant wedding destination, which has a new beer garden, has also been featured in Wes Anderson's The Royal Tenenbaums and a Foxy Brown music video. [DNA]
