The 10k SFChildren's Museum of the Arts opened last week at 103 Charlton St in Hudson Square. Designed by WORK AC's Dan Wood and Amale Andraos, the space is three times bigger than its SoHo location. The first exhibit, Make Art (In) Public, includes Keith Haring and Christoworks. Rotating through will be the 2,000 pieces from the museum's collection of children's artwork dating back to 1932. CMA is $5.5M toward its $6.8M fundraising to pay for the expansion. |
