This year, Bisnow honored 54 women as 2019 New York Power Women: a group whose talents stretch across dealmaking, construction, design, law, finance, communications and public policy.
More than 400 people gathered at a networking event last night in the atrium at Brookfield Place to celebrate the honorees and to acknowledge the collective achievements women have made in the traditionally male-dominated field of commercial real estate.

This was the third annual Power Women event Bisnow has held in New York City. The evening was about recognizing the significant strides of women across the industry.
Though women are now permeating the highest ranks of commercial real estate, forming their own businesses, donning more hard hats and spearheading major deals, many women say persistent, complex challenges remain. Men still outearn women on average, for example, and most C-suites still want for gender diversity.
