Streit’s Matzo, the last family-owned Matzo factory in the country, has sold to Cogswell Realty. The space, at 148-154 Rivington St on the Lower East Side, fetched $30.5M in a deal that culminates a series of listings dating back to 2008, when the 50k SF space was on the market for $25M, but didn’t find a buyer, reports The Real Deal. Streit’s ceased operations at the factory in the tenement building, where they've operated since 1925. The owners are reportedly on the hunt for a new location in the city. [TRD]
