How to Use Rap for Networking

This morning, at the networking and referral org BNI's weekly meeting of Lucky Chapter 62 at the Union Square Ballroom, each member got 30 seconds to do a commercial for his or her business goals and to get referrals. Eastern Consolidated’s Alexander Hill is no traditionalist; he regularly raps his. Click here to watch his spiel, including how he’s like Jay-Z. Because our video camera didn’t work for us on the first try, we shot it again, this time including some back-up beatboxers you might recognize.

Chapter 62 members include bakers, dentists, social media pros, and plenty more, including a healthy dose of real estate folks like Borah Goldstein’s Mike Nerenberg, Cole Schotz’s Jordan Metzger, Homeier & Law’s Clem Turner, Alexander, Fidelity National Title’s Tim Oberweger, Abe Silbar, Lionsgate Finance’s Joseph Meerbaum, and Corcoran’s Josh Doyle, as well as UBS Financial Services’ Andrew Kahner.
