COMING HOME TO ROOST

Bisnow NY is gaining a new member of the family. Former Bisnow DCreporter Amanda Metcalf took a week-long break in August from the federal-stimulus-fueled DC CRE market (vacationing in Sag Harboras good New Yorkers do) and has now played enough croquet to be ready to return to the grind, this time reporting on her home base of New York City (plus Baltimore, in case you've got something going there).
Metcalf (who seems to have a thing for straw hats) and longtime NYBisnow-er Amanda Marsh (who will continue to cover both NY and NJ) worked together at Commercial Property News back in the day. Marsh says that if Metcalf can master the bull at Mason Dixon on the Lower East Side, she's ready to take on this crazy market.
