Bisnow, REBNY, and CBRE are putting out a call to friends to help a friend within our community tomorrow. After her leukemia returned recently, Wendy Siegel, wife of CBRE global brokerage chair Steve Siegel (above), likely will need a bone marrow transplant. No one in her family or the worldwide registry is a perfect match, and so we want to expand that registry. If you're between 18 and 60 years old, stop by the Grand Hyatt Manhattan Ballroom at Grand Central from 8am to 2pm for a simple and painless cheek swab and thus join the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Registry. You also can join by emailing jfeinberg@giftoflife.org, order an at-home swab kit at www.giftoflife.org/register, or help offset the cost of lab tests (they're $60 a pop) here.
