Leading real estate community Connected Investors is launching an aggregated real estate crowdfunding platform for off-market properties, the company announced this week. By leveraging its 200,000 member network, Connected Investors pools the best deals from the ever-growing number of crowdfunding platforms on the market. CEO Ross Hamilton (above) says crowdfunding has transformed real estate and investing in ways that traditional routes could not, allowing a more accessible route for investment. "The traditional ways create many roadblocks," he explains. Members filter investment opportunities by various factors, like location, rate of return and investment amount. Founded in 2005, Ross' company has created a social network that allows members exclusive access to off-market properties from various sources, including asset managers and hedge funds.
