The Preiss Co Acquires Fifth Property In Three Months

The Preiss Co acquired Campus Edge in Raleigh, NC. The 546-bed housing complex is within walking distance to the North Carolina State Centennial campus, about two miles from the main campus. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Campus Edge is comprised of 13 two- and three-floor garden-style buildings on 25 acres. Preiss will spend $2.2M to renovate The Edge before the 2017-18 school term. The renovations include an updated clubhouse and upgrades to floors, countertops, appliances and lighting.

The purchase comes on the heels of the company’s Q1 acquisition of a three-property portfolio in Boca Raton, FL, and one in Greensboro, NC.

The company’s aggressive strategy has seen it expand to 23 markets nationwide.
