Avanti’s Tech-Savvy Approach To Senior Living

Avanti Senior Living is gearing up to open a 77k SF, $15M community in Flower Mound, TX, that takes a tech-savvy approach to healthcare.

Each resident’s medical history and personal notes will be available via electronic healthcare records that are updated in real time. And nurses use an integrated point of care system to update records, document changes in health, cross off assisted living tasks as they’re completed, and log a resident’s participation in activities. Families of residents can request access to information at any time, and care plans can be adjusted as needed.

Avanti, helmed by CEO Tim Hekker—an industry vet with over 30 years’ experience—currently operates two senior living communities in Texas, with four more slated to open (two in Louisiana, two in Texas) in 2017.
