13 Best Closing Party Pics from International Retail Show in Cannes

More than 8,000 retailers, brokers and developers came together in Cannes for two days of doing deals, making connections and having fun at MAPIC. The event organizer, Reed MIDEM, held a massive closing party at the Grand Hyatt Cannes Hôtel Martinez, and Bisnow was there to document it. Here are our favorite shots we took as the dancing and carousing went to the wee hours of the morning.

The party started in the room in the previous photo, but eventually moved into this massive space, complete with VIP lounge, bars on either side and incredible light shows.

The champagne in the VIP lounge looked (and tasted) delicious.

No one outside the VIP lounge wanted for drinks, however.

But there were some pretty tough-looking (but very friendly) enforcers keeping the VIPs free to dance among themselves in space those in the crowded dance hall...

...didn't have.

We weren't the only ones taking photos.

No expense was spared for beautiful displays in front of which the DJ could spin some killer dance tracks.

And spin she did.

The LED screen behind her was fascinating to watch, and spotlights turned the room from green...

..to red...

...to blue in an instant.

We feel you, fist-pumper. This party ruled. We're not done with MAPIC coverage, but we are done in Cannes. It was a blast.
