NBC to Donald Trump—You're Fired!

Donald Trump is trying to win the presidency, but can't even keep his current relationships intact. NBC just announced it's cutting ties with The Donald—it won't air the Miss USA or Miss Universe pageants, which it co-owns with the Trump Org. (The Apprentice had already been canceled so Trump could focus on campaigning, and Celebrity Apprentice is licensed through United Artists Media Group and is still scheduled.) NBC quickly distanced itself from the billionaire after his comments two weeks ago that Mexicans are "bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists, and some, I assume, are good people." (His apology/clarification wasn't much better—he told CNN that other immigrants are rapists and murderers, too.) An online petition on Change.org asking NBC to end its relationship with Trump quickly amassed over 215,000 votes.
