Boston Properties Plans 1.2M SF Air Rights, Mixed-Use Development

Boston Properties is planning a 1.2M SF air rights, mixed-used development above Back Bay Station and nearby buildings.

The plans call for three separate commercial and residential towers and a renovated Back Bay Station: as much as 575k SF of office space, 100k SF of retail and 600 residential units, the Boston Business Journal reports.

Pelli Clarke Pelli is the architect for the office building, two residential buildings and ground-floor retail, while Arrowstreet will do the Back Bay Station renovations and expansion. [BBJ]
