The Fabulous Real Estate Empire Of Disney

The empire Walt built is one of the hallmarks of American imagination. Now valued at $179.5B, Disney boasts one of the most expansive asset catalogs around. Take a trip with us into the wonderful world of Disney real estate.

Golden Oak

Golden Oak at Walt Disney World Resort is a 980-acre residential community in Lake Buena Vista, FL, right on the edge of Walt Disney World. The gated community within the resort features 450 luxury, custom homes ranging from $1.8M to $7M and answers the popular tourist question "can we just live here?"

Disneyland Hotel

What started out in 1955 as Jack Wrather's shoddy motor inn, the Disneyland Hotel is a resort hotel at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. The AAA Four-Diamond hotel features 975 rooms, including specially themed Disney character suites, and one of the largest contiguous convention spaces in the western US with 136k SF.

Disney California Adventure

The 72-acre park opened in 2001 and highlights Cali culture and history with its regional-themed rides and attractions. It celebrated the completion of a five-year expansion in June 2012, with seven themed lands, including Cars Land.

The Disneyland Resort

Commonly known as Disneyland, the iconic destination is a 500-acre, world-class, multi-day theme park, the holy grail of family vacations. In the words of Walt himself, “Disneyland will never be completed…as long as there is imagination left in the world.”

Disney World

Disney World in Florida is the size of San Francisco itself. Its 43 square miles covers 28,000 acres and contains 27 themed resort hotels, nine non–Disney hotels, four theme parks, two water parks, four golf courses—and that's with less than 35% of Disney World's land being developed. The adjacent town of Celebration, FL, was built on land formerly owned by Disney.

Disneyland Paris

Originally Euro Disney Resort, Disneyland Paris is in Marne-la-Vallée, and is the most visited theme park in all of France and Europe. The resort covers 4,800 acres and encompasses two theme parks; several resort hotels; a shopping, dining and entertainment complex; and a golf course. The resort is the second Disney park to open outside the United States, following the opening of the Tokyo Disney Resort in 1983.
