Who cares about leases? It's leashes that matter. AMLI began incorporating pet amenities in its properties about eight years ago, and interest continues to grow exponentially, AMLI SVP Traci Hall tells us. Features range from paw washes (pictured) to high-end pet vending machines (think bejeweled collars, treats, fancy shampoo), and even include areas like paw parks, where owners can bond with each other and their animals. “People are highly emotional about their pets,” Traci says. “It's all about creating those connection points.” We’re looking for the coolest pet amenities around the country for an upcoming series on multifamily pet projects.
