DC: Highest Price Ever?

As Bisnow reported first, TIAA-CREF is under contract with DC developer extraordinaire JBG for Louis at 14th, a 267-unit, under-construction building in DC's up-and-coming U Street Corridor. Sources tell us pricing for Louis at 14th could come in around $170M, which would set a DC price-per-unit record. It's actually one of several under-construction sales in the District this year, due to local legislation giving tenants the right to form an association and snap up apartment buildings before completion.
