ATLANTA: Braves' Giant Stadium RFQ

Get your batting gloves and bulldozers ready. The Atlanta Braves have officially issued an RFQ for developers to spearhead a new $670M, mixed-use stadium project in Cobb County (a 'burb of Atlanta) that'll include retail, hotel, office, and apartments totaling more than 1M SF in the first phase alone. We've already been hearing names of national developers eyeing the project, including Cousins Properties, North American Properties, and OliverMcMillan. According to reports, RFQs are due Dec. 30 with a short list of candidates revealed by Jan. 10. We can only hope the winner will be revealed live on ESPN, LeBron style.
