Indiana developer White/Peterman Properties and equity investor Five Star Realty Partners, which early this year paid a record $20M for a SoBro site owned by First Baptist Church, are planning a Curio hotel as part of the project.
Curio is a collection of independent high-end hotels that affiliate with Hilton, thus having the distinction of being unique properties—something that travelers are demanding more now—while also having access to Hilton's resources.
The partners intend to start development at the site next year, the Nashville Business Journal reports. It has a prime location at 710 Demonbreun St, across from Music City Center. Currently on the site is the building that used to be home to the Nashville Rescue Mission (pictured). [NBJ]
