Nashville's getting another hotel, but this one isn't in SoBro. Instead, Atlanta-based Summit Management Corp will be developing a 130-room Moxy, Marriott International's new hotel concept for Millennials, at Belcourt and 20th Avenue in Hillsboro Village. The development will also include 47 residences, a 200-car garage and first-floor retail along 20th Avenue S.

The project points to the growth of Hillsboro Village as well as the eagerness of out-of-state investors to be in Nashville, the Nashville Business Journal reports. They're attracted partly to the metro area's population growth, but not just the raw numbers—Nashville's increasingly popular among Millennials.

The new hotel's local ownership group includes developer John Nelley Jr. and Midtown Café owner Randy Rayburn. Separately, there's a Moxy under construction Downtown, which will be finished next year. The Moxy in Hillsboro Village is slated for completion by 2018. [NBJ]
