Why Power Women Don't Back Down

When we honored LA Power Women with a big party last year, more than 400 people came out in support. Tonight, we're doing the same for San Diego Power Women and we hope the outpouring will be just as strong. These women are amazing leaders who stand up for themselves, and they’re comfortable standing up for others, Bisnow's editor in chief, Sibley Fleming, told CREW in "Power Women: Why the Industry's Leaders Are not Shrinking Violets." So Thursday, we're standing up for them. (Literally, these women hate sitting. Look at our photo.) Bisnow's Power Women initiative aims to celebrate the very top women in the industry. At the event, we will honor the top women in San Diego commercial real estate at the San Diego Public Library. Added bonus: Bisnow publisher Mark Bisnow will serve as master of ceremonies. Here's everything you need to know about our initiative.

Among the incredible honorees: MG Properties COO Patti Gray. Her firm has made more than $250M worth of acquisitions in the past seven months and has more than doubled in size since she joined in 2005. Her advice: While education and experience are always important, real estate management is “ultimately a people business where you can excel with hard work, common sense and a desire to serve your customer.” Show your support for San Diego's top women in real estate.
