Nearly two months after Bisnow first reported, the announcement has come out: Chinese retail juggernaut Alibaba will be taking 22k SF and the top floor of IDS Real Estate Group's $75M Playhouse Plaza. Other tenants announced include Charles Schwab and co-working outfit EpicSpaces, which is taking about 9,500 SF on the first floor. The collaborative spot will have to compete with nearby Cross Campus, which opened a 20k SF outpost at Rising Realty Partners' building at 87 Raymond in February.

The five-story, 155k SF development at 680 E Colorado Blvd will include a number of shops and restaurants on the ground floor of the busy thoroughfare, which has views of the annual Rose Parade. It was designed by Moules & Polyzoides. The marketing team of CBRE vice chairman R. Todd Doney and first VP Steve Nelson repped IDS.
