New renderings for Eighth & Figueroa, a proposed mixed-use building in DTLA, offer more details on the high-rise development.

The glass, rectangular-shaped tower will be positioned on top of a podium. Mitsui Fudosan America will build the project.

The 43-story building, at 732 South Figueroa St, will have 436 residential units, 11k SF of retail space and parking accommodations for 460 vehicles and 400 bikes, according to Urbanize LA.

MFA had initially tried to build a hotel at the site in the 1990s. [ULA]
