20th Century Fox Planning 1.1M SF Studio Lot Expansion

The studio plans to add some 1.1M SF of facilities at its 52.9-acre studio lot at 10201 W Pico Blvd in Century City.

Plans for the new facilities were filed earlier this month with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning. Filing documents indicate that improvements include creative office space; a specialty stage; and facility support, retail amenities and utility buildings. Fox has also applied for a master conditional-use permit that would allow the sale of alcoholic beverages at three new restaurants planned on the lot, as well as four existing venues, according to Urbanize LA.

The proposed studio expansion is among several major projects underway in the Century City neighborhood, including the $800M renovation of Westfield Century City mall, the $2.5B Century Plaza Hotel redevelopment and the 40-story Crescent Heights luxury apartment project. [ULA]
